In a departure video released on Monday, First Lady Melania Trump reflected on her time in the White House and the causes she championed during her four years as First Lady.
"The past four years have been unforgettable," Mrs. Trump said in the nearly seven-minute clip. She highlighted her "Be Best" initiative, which focused on issues impacting children's well-being, social media use, and the opioid crisis. "I have been inspired by incredible Americans across our country who lifted up their communities with kindness and courage, and with that spirit, I farewell each of you."
Mrs. Trump also paid tribute to military families and thanked the American people, saying: "It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as First Lady of the United States."
